A Potful of Recipes, pg. 168 or A Deluxe Potful of Recipes, pg. 203. I was expecting more of a Chi chi's or Chevy's type corn pudding, this was nothing like that. But, it was ok. It was better later in the day. I think it is one that gets better with time. It deffinately reminded me of grandma's custard! I just never had her custard with corn. It was ok, just not my cup of tea. I also would have liked bigger portions. It is deffaintely only a recipe for custard lovers. It gets 3 stars!

A Potful of Recipes, pg. 217 or A Deluxe Potful of Recipes, pg. 281. This was definitely a winner. We liked it very much. However, it was best after 4 hours. After 7 hours it was a tad burnt on the edges, and on top. So I suggest only 4 hours, on LOW. It made great left overs. And made exactly 6 cups. I highly suggest it. It's almost like lasagna. And the noodles were fine too, I did them cooked. They were not mushy this way at all! 5 stars.

A Potful of Recipes, pg. 220 or A Deluxe Potful of Recipes, pg 284. This didn't thrill me! If you like Richard Simmons-Baja Lasagna, you may like this. It's almost the same. Vince didn't like it. But, he's not much of a bread eater, so I suspect it was the corn tortillas he didn't care for. For me it got boring really fast. It gets 3 stars.

A Potful of Recipes, pg. 226 or A Deluxe Potful of Recipes, pg. 290. This gets 5 stars, it is absolutely delicious! I loved every single bite! This is deffiantely meatloaf sandwich material. And with only 1/2 a starch for the actual meat loaf, light bread is deffinately a option. I can tell I will be having this again and again. I made a few slight changes-I added a little garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture. To the tomato sauce I added italian seasoning instead of parsley, and a tad bit more garlic powder. It was awesome. I really liked the texture as well. The recipe does not tell you to pat the ball of meat mixture down into the slow cooker container, but I did that-evenly pat it flat-and it came out great that way. I think if you left it in a ball, you would have a big meat ball when you got back, and not a meat LOAF! Ok, actually it's a meat DISC!

A Potful of Recipes, pg. 230 or A Deluxe Potful of Recipes, pg. 294.This was very good and very filling. However, I put the pasta in there uncooked and it came out gummy. I suggest cooking the pasta first then finishing this recipe. Uncooked pasta in the slow cooker is known for gumminess. All in all it recieves 5 stars.

A Potful of Recipes, pg. 232 or A Deluxe Potful of Recipes, pg. 296. This was very filling also. Learning from the Ravioli Casserole, I put the pasta in the recipe fully cooked. It came out great. No mushy or gummy pasta at all and it was in there for the full 4 hours. I also added some spinach and parmesan cheese to the final product and really liked it. It also made generous servings. However, I think it needs more spice! I liked it, but it is not my favorite, so it recieves 3 stars.

A Potful of Recipes, pg. 262 or A Deluxe Potful of Recipes, pg. 362. At first this looked watery, under the top layer. But, when it cooled it became a nice sauce. It was tasty. But, it was not real cheese, and it is not very pretty. I give this 3 stars.
